If you would have asked me to place this ad a few months ago, I would have laughed ~ but a lot has happened recently, so here I am in all my glory (not really, I actually do have on gym shorts).

The whole sordid tale is too long for this ad, but write and I'll explain fully.

I'm not one of those grinches who sees life as a terminal illness and would much rather smile than frown.

I'm a live-and-let-live guy and strive to behave in a manner that gives me pleasure but doesn't harm anyone else.

I've made some mistakes, but now have the opportunity to move ahead into a positive future.

I'm not afraid to laugh at myself and have enough respect for people to really listen and to tell them the truth.

I don't have all of the answers all of the time, but I'm looking toward the future knowing tomorrow has unending possibilities for something better.

I'm a down-to-earth guy who loves kids, community and underdogs. I'm content just being myself, and even after all of this, still believe the American dream is a challenge worth facing.

I'm a little lonely, so need a friend who's not afraid to share their hopes, their dreams, or even their fears.
