Hello. It doesn't matter where you live. I'm grateful to be given an opportunity for us to become friends. I need a confidante. I want someone who will share ambitions, interests, and opinions. I'll treasure an email or letter from a warm-hearted woman who understands how much a man can change while serving the stretch of time I have behind bars.

Naturally, no excuse can justify a crime committed over twenty years ago. But I can answer your questions. Then you can compare who I used to be versus who I've become. It's important for you to understand some circumstances that contributed to the senseless decisions that led to my imprisonment. I was an alcoholic at twelve, a drug addict at seventeen and out of control at thirty. Consequently, I was unable to form loyal friendships or a stable, loving relationship.

Dr. Phil says, we can't change our past, but we can begin to create a new history the moment we start making better decisions. I've educated myself with help from prison personnel, poets and professors. I've completed every self-help program made available to me and earned a GED. I've graduated from Rhema Correspondence Bible School. My poetry has won three PEN Prison Writing Awards. The Universities of Iowa and Kentucky have published my pieces. I hope to attend college someday.

I'm considerate, creative, humorous, imaginative, optimistic, sensitive, and unpretentious. I adore children and enjoy amusement parks, art galleries, beaches, comedy, concerts, horseback riding, jetskies, movies, museums, NASCAR, powerboats, Scrabble, sunsets, rock and country music.
